That's filmmaker Lauren Greenfield, whose documentary Thin aired on HBO recently, speaking in Film Threat magazine. I'm as far from anorexic as Earth is from the sun, but Greenfield's comment is provocative enough to probably make a lot of women, self included, wonder how many of their other gifts they are shortchanging for the sake of appearance. It's one thing to try to stay fit, but another to let your looks hog the spotlight that your other attributes are starving for.
